Month 1 For SEO


That is the beginning of your work with an SEO strategy. You will do your research quite well and make your SEO plan to work on it.

Keep in mind, that these all things above do not always take a whole month to depend on your current website presence.

Due to this, it may be possible that month 2 work starts in the month.


 What will you do in month 2:

  • Website modification
  • Responsive design

In this month more technical work will be done or performed. During the second month, you will go to the back end of your site and start making the necessary changes to it.


The changes you make depend on your website audit.


For example: If you have done your image SEO then there is no need to go there and check and fix errors.


But if you found that your website meta description is lacking then you should fix them.


If your website is old, or you bought it from someone else, it may need a total SEO overhaul. That in itself could take months. You will typically find out from your SEO if your site needs a total overhaul within the first month when the website audits take place.

Responsive design means no matter what your screen size it could be responsive to all of them. If you have a website that is not responsive then it's likely that when users view your site from mobile or tablet then it shows different as it appears on the desktop.

Before you start creating and implementing the content, you will have to look at the long list of keywords that you have done in the First month and narrow it down to keywords you want to target.


Different keywords are for different content and purpose. For example, different content and there are long-tail keywords and generic keywords.


Generic keywords typically include one or two words, and they describe a broad topic. These terms include “pizza,” "car insurance," "popular songs," “shoes,” or “dogs.”


While generic keywords have high search volume, your competitor, other companies in the industry also target them. This means it is difficult to rank them organically.


Though long-tail keywords have low search volume but more generous leads or sales to your website - people who are more likely to purchase a product or service generally type or search for a long-tail keyword.


As you can see a lot goes when selecting keywords before writing content. That's why content creation as a whole takes a month or even more depending on what's your website needs to start.

One of the most important parts of an SEO campaign is Content Creation.

There you have to decide after keyword selection which one you should use to target the audience accordingly.


Similar, to keywords there are different types of Content, too.

During the third month, you should do your SEO to pair each keyword with a specific kind of content that would work best with each topic.


For example, At this point, there should be long-form content, blog content, and product/services content. 


At this point, you have to decide which type of content works best in your website/blogs.


Long-form content typically is 2000+ words like this one and it is really important for SEO. It is proven that long-form content is proven to earn more organic traffic than short content.   


But, it is not kidding to make a 2000+ words article/ content and publish it on the website because writers should be careful about the search intent, to search satisfied with their terms.


Blogs content is much more commitment since it must be updated on the regular basis.

It is something where you will start looking at different variations and formats to look at like how your audience is reacting.


For example, if you want to implement a call to action button, but want to try a different version in a different color to determine which performs the best, they might perform an A/B test. This test will allow them to see what variation of a specific element performs better and implement that version on your website.

This is another tool that is used by marketers to identify how much a user can go below on a web page and where he/she attract and where not. It is measured by the dark to light color. Dark color shows where users interact most and light color shows where less user interaction or fewer clicks.
